On Mar. 25th, 2015, Mr.Col.Gerry Chanda, Deputy Interior Minister, accompanying by Immigration Office, Southern Province and other related leaders of Cinnamon ZongGui region visited the MCL Project site.

After Mr.Col.Gerry Chanda's visit, he delivered a high evaluation project process quality and safety aspect. In his speech, Mr.Col.Gerry Chanda welcomed SEPCO2's participation in the project construction in Zambia, and thanked for offering employment opportunities for the locals and training a group of technical personnel, he pointed out that the construction of the power plant was of overreaching importance to power shortage in Zambia. He also said that he would offer hands on solving visa problems.
